Town twinning
CEMR has always seen twinning as a vital means of bringing Europe's citizens together across national frontiers, to help build a peaceful united Europe with grassroots support.
Today, there are nearly 30,000 twinning links. CEMR works closely with the Commission (DG Education and Culture) to promote modern, high quality twinning initiatives and exchanges that involve all sections of the community.
