PLATFORMA - Local & regional international action

Our Latvian association (LALRG) in cooperation with the Latvian Presidency of the Council of the EU and the European Commission invites you to discuss how to strengthen collaboration between central and local government, next 19 June 2015 in Riga.

The event, entitled “Efficient mechanism of consultations and negotiations between national governments and local and regional governments”, will constitute a platform for discussion and exchange of good practices of cooperation between central and local government, for instance, when developing regional roads or public transports.

Participants will include local elected representatives, experts from national associations of local government, as well as representatives of the European Commission and the Council of Europe.

You have until 11 May to register by sending an email to Ligita Pudža. After confirming your presence, you will receive the registration link as well as all the necessary details.

A draft program of the event is already available in English. Simultaneous interpretation will be provided in Latvian, English and Russian.
