Energy efficiency

The first annual report shows that much progress has already been made at the regional, national and European level in the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, the use of domestic energy sources as well as research and projects funding.

The state of the Energy Union was presented by Commissioner for Energy Union Maroš Šefčovič during a press conference on 18 November. The Commission has committed to present these reports annually to take stock of the progress made on energy policies.
