Take part in the Europe Prize 2018
European municipalities are invited to take part in the Europe Prize 2018, the prize for municipalities of the 47 member states of the Council of Europe, regardless of their size and their number of inhabitants.
This prize is awarded each year by the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe. Its goal: to reward towns and cities that have shown outstanding commitment to Europe, as well as those that engage in twinning activities or become members of local government organisations, among other achievements.
The Europe Prize winner will receive a € 20,000 cheque, which will help the organisation of a group visit of the European institutions for young people.
Each town or city that wants to win this prize has to apply for all the different prizes: the European Diploma, the Flag of Honour, the Plaque of Honour and finally, the Europe Prize.

The deadline for applications is 15 January 2018.
