PLATFORMA - Local & regional international action

Drinking water. Waste policy. Economic development. Towns and regions can try to deal with these issues on their own. But why stay alone? It’s so much smarter, easier and more fulfilling to cooperate! Thanks to PLATFORMA, towns and regions have been able to cooperate on a wide range of issues for almost 10 years now.

Come and celebrate the 10^th anniversary of the PLATFORMA coalition with us. It will take place on 10 October 2018, at the Royal Museums of Fine Arts of Belgium.

During the event, discover how cities and regions from the European Union and beyond work together to implement and promote sustainable development.

If you are already an expert in this field, this anniversary will be the perfect opportunity to exchange with other players and elected officials about development cooperation led by cities and regions.

You will have the possibility to see what PLATFORMA’s partners have accomplished during the past 10 years. In addition, we will discuss the main challenges facing decentralised cooperation in the next decade.
