Mobility

The European Local Transport Information Service "ELTIS" web portal on clean urban transport in Europe is born.

 

The portal aims to provide information in the field of urban and regional transport in Europe. It includes local transport news and events, transport measures, policies and practices implemented in cities and regions across Europe.

 

Its 'Call of tenders" section provides information and links to EU funded calls for proposals and calls for tenders under various programmes relevant to urban and regional transport. The section "Tools for practitioners" provides local policy makers and officials responsible for implementing policies with access to training programmes, good practice guides, evaluation tools, practical guidelines and handbooks.

 

ELTIS is an initiative of the European Commission's Directorate General for Energy and Transport. The Council of European Municipalities and Regions (CEMR) is partner of the project.
