next > < previous
EWWR Project Developers may belong to an administration or public authority, to an association or NGO, to a company or industry, to an educational establishment or to any other establishment such as a hospital, nursing home or cultural institution.
Actions put forward must meet certain criteria and cover issues on waste prevention such as too much waste, better production, better consumption, a longer life for products and less waste thrown away.
The overall aim of the EWWR is to raise awareness about waste reduction strategies and policies led at EU level and in member states, promote sustainable waste reduction actions, highlight concrete examples of waste reduction and encourage changes in the behaviour of citizens in their everyday lives.
Project Developers must register their proposals through national, regional or local Organisers in their area before 5 November 2010.
