Come to our event on long-term investments for long lasting results
Developing renewable energy, renovating schools, maintaining a public transport network… Many projects require long-term investments from local and regional governments. What obstacles do they meet? What changes are needed in EU Rules? On Wednesday 8 March, CEMR is co-organising an event at the European Parliament to find answers to these questions.
Entitled “Long-term investment: Barriers and opportunities for regions and cities”, this event will address the issue from all angles, including changes needed in EU rules, Eurostat, and transport infrastructure.
CEMR will be represented by Flo Clucas, our spokesperson on local finances and Cheltenham councillor. She will present solutions to promote local long-term investments.
