Waste management and circular economy

"Scarabeo 2004" is the first Youth Award for waste management. Its aim is to acknowledge the best projects by young Europeans to avoid and separate waste.
 

This initiatve by the City of Vienna intends not only to strengthen young people's environment-consciousness, but also to promote imaginative ideas on avoiding and reducing waste.
 

Young people, pupils, teachers, youth groups or organisations are invited to visit the website : www.scarabeo2004.net where they will find all relevant information about this competition.

 

The deadline for submitting SCARABEO projects is 16 May 2004. The Prize Ceremony will be held in Vienna in June 2004.
