CEMR reflection process: have your say (Deadline: 30 June)
The Council of European Municipalities and Regions (CEMR) has launched a consultation in the framework of its reflection process and thus invites its stakeholders to fill-out a questionnaire by 30 June.
The main objective of this process is for CEMR to reflect on its place within the local and regional sphere in Europe and vis-à-vis other actors in the same field and to develop a forward-looking strategy and main priorities with the year 2020 in mind.
The questionnaire is aimed not only at launching a participative and transparent reflection process on CEMR priorities, but will also serve as a main tool on which to base its strategic reflection. This first step in the reflection process will help CEMR determine a number of themes to be used in future steps throughout the summer and the rest of the year, and notably at the occasion of a meeting to be held in Bordeaux from 28 to 29 October.
CEMR has divided the questionnaire into three parts. The first part concerns personal information, while the second is specifically destined for CEMR's partners. The third and final part is an extended section, which addresses stakeholders involved in CEMR activities.
The questionnaire, available in English, French and German, should be filled out and sent to reflectionprocess@ccre-cemr.org by Wednesday 30 June 2010 at the latest.
