Municipalities and regions: fill out our survey on age-friendly environments before 31 January 2013
We would like to invite all European municipalities and regions to fill out our quick ten-minute online survey on how to promote age-friendly environments as an effective response to demographic change.  The survey is available in English, French, German, Italian and Spanish, and must be completed and handed in before 31 January 2013.

With this survey, we hope to hear about the support needed and the challenges local and regional authorities are faced with when becoming more age-friendly.  These results will help us feed into current discussions with the European Commission and World Health Organisation in the framework of the European innovation partnership on active and healthy ageing.

Age-friendly environments can notably help empower the elderly to age in better physical and mental health, promote their social inclusion and active participation and maintain their autonomy and good quality of life.

The survey was launched by the Council of European Municipalities and Regions (CEMR), the network of major European cities (EUROCITIES) and the European platform for the elderly (AGE).
