Governance and citizenship

Dexia group and the Council of European Municipalities and Regions (CEMR) have presented their joint study on the state of local and regional authorities in Europe, on 20 December 2006 in Brussels.

 

Bruno Deletré, Director Public Finance - Dexia group, and Jeremy Smith, CEMR Secretary general presented the joint "nuancier 206", a set of factsheets detailing key data on EU's member states (local and regional structures, structural and cohesion funds, economic activity, public sector financial aspects, town twining...).

 

Bruno Deletré also presented Dexia's latest annual conjuncture note: « Local and regional finances in the EU - 2000-2005. The note features among others comparative tables on issues such as fiscality, investments, the debt of local and regional authorities in the EU.
