Equality of women and men in local life

Equality - 15.05.2014

Help us get a clear picture of the Charter's implementation by answering our online questionnaire!

What gender equality actions have your local government implemented? Have these been assessed? What difficulties have you encountered in pursuing your work? We invite signatories of the Charter within EU member states to provide answer to these questions and more.

Your contributions will allow us to assess progress made so far and make a step forward in strengthening gender equality over time.

The results of this European-wide enquiry will provide input for:
  • mapping the situation of the implementation of the Charter in EU Member states;
  • developing indicators through which local government will be able to monitor progress and evaluate its policies

Respond to the questionnaire in your own language!

The questionnaire is available in 18 languages: English, French, Czech, Dutch, Finnish, German, Greek, Hungarian, Italian, Latvian, Maltese, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Slovak, Slovenian, Spanish and Swedish.

Responses to the questionnaire must be submitted before 26 May (or 28 May for Italy, France, Greece, Spain and Sweden). The questionnaire is open to all the signatories in EU Member states that have signed the Charter before 15 February 2014.
