EU Consultation: How can we make the transitions socially just?
Europe is currently experiencing great transformations in many areas, including the climate and energy transition, digitalisation and demographic change. How can we ensure that these trends go hand in hand with social justice and that no one loses out?

The European Commission invites everyone – including local and regional governments, social partners and ordinary citizens – to submit their contributions on how we can promote social justice in our continent and ensure just transitions for all.

You have until 30 November 2020 to react to the Commission’s recent Communication on reinforcing social Europe and say what action you think is needed, whether at European, national, regional or local level.

Contributions will then feed into the Commission’s 2021 action plan for a more social Europe. Topics covered include fair minimum wages, the EU’s Gender Strategy (including bind pay transparency requirements), the inclusion of the elderly and disable persons, and much more. Make your voice heard!
