AICCRE - 01.04.2021
Five more years: Congratulations to Stefano Bonaccini and Carla Rey!
CEMR and its member associations warmly welcome the re-election of Stefano Bonaccini and Carla Rey, respectively, as the President and Secretary General of our Italian Section (AICCRE). These renewed mandates come at a time of intense activity for local governments as we plan for sustainable growth beyond the pandemic.
“We must strengthen the work of connection and collaboration with the European Union and with the government of the country” said President Stefano Bonaccini, who also serves as president of CEMR and of the Region of Emilia-Romagna. “Let’s get to work right away, there is so much to do!”
Stefano Bonaccini’s new five-year term of office will focus on the fight against the pandemic, sustainable growth, the programming of EU funds, the recovery plan and territorial development. AICCRE, a founding member of CEMR, has always played an important role within our organisation and we look forward to further developing our collaboration under the new presidency.
