The conference of the Socialist group in the European Parliament: local public services and the internal market (16 February, Brussels)

The Socialist group in the European Parliament will host a conference on local public services and the internal market, in Brussels, on 16 February 2005.

After a welcoming speech of the President of the socialist group in the European Parliament, Martin Schulz, a round table will be led by Gilles Savary. Participants to the conference will include the secretary-general of the Council of European Municipalities and Regions, Jeremy Smith, the deputy mayor of Leipzig, President of the working group on services of general interest - Eurocities, Holger Tschense, the secretary-general of CEEP, Rainer Plassmann”¦
