Local and regional government in South-East Europe (CEMR seminar, 14/15.10.05, Vienna)
The Council of European Municipalities and Regions (CEMR) is organising a seminar on local and regional authorities in South-East Europe, on 14/15 October 2005 in Vienna.
The seminar will address issues such as exchange of experiences between associations of local and regional governments, and financing local structures.
The main speakers will include :
. CEMR president and mayor of Vienna, Michael Häupl
. Austrian Foreign Affairs state secretary, Hans Winkler
. President of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of Europe, Giovanni Di Stasi
. Members of the European Parliament Doris Pack and Hannes Swoboda
. Representatives from the European Commission and national associations members of CEMR
