European Commission pleased by cooperation with CEMR
CEMR's twinning coordinators consultation annual meeting with the European Commission took place in Brussels on 19 April 2004.
The meeting's aim was for CEMR's network of twinning to contribute to the drafting of the call for proposals concerning the EU twinning funding programme for 2005.
Director João Vale de Almeida, of DG Education and Culture, opended the meeting expressing his satisfaction at the close cooperation between the European Commission and CEMR in the running of the programme.
The Chairman of CEMR's twinning working group, Anders Knappe (mayor of Karlstad, Sweden) presented CEMR's view on the key points of the call.
