The 2006 General report on the activities of the EU now available
The European Commission has published the "General report on the activities of the European Union" in 2006.
The report was presented to the Members of the European Parliament, meeting in plenary session in Strasbourg, in February 2007. The 250-pages document gives an overview of the activities of all the Union's institutions and bodies, including extensive reference and a section on the new cohesion policy.
This section comprises a number of subtopics including the Lisbon strategy, workers mobility, equality between women and men, employment, social inclusion and the demographic challenges.
The report is available on the European Commission's website in 20 languages. The Bulgarian and Romanian editions are due to appear shortly.
