The results of the Watertime project on water supply systems now on-line
The Watertime research project, aiming at improving the sustainability of decision-making on water systems in Europe's cities, is publishing, with CEMR's participation, its recommendations on good practice in decision-making.

Available in 21 languages, these recommendations are intended to help all those interested in questions of water supply - municipalities and other public authorities, managers and employees of water companies, consumers, environmentalists, community organisations, trade unions, and all concerned citizens.

The recommendations offer practical advice to help people make better decisions about organising water and sewerage services in cities. They do not tell you the best solution for problems in water and sanitation services, but offer advice on diagnosis of the problem, identifying options, on assessing the risks, evaluating the alternatives and making the decision, on using public participation and transparency.

The Watertime research project was supported by the European Commission under the 5th framework programme.
