Renewable energy - 13.02.2009

A cruise on the Danube to learn more about renewable energy
The RESboat project is organizing a "renewable energy cruise" along the Danube between 23 and 27 March 2009.

The main idea is to offer free presentations of local good practice on renewable energy sources (RES) at each port of call.

The boat will be in Vienna on 23 March where examples of success stories in renewable electricity technologies will be displayed.

On 24, the boat will stop in Bratislava and the theme will be polygeneration. That will be followed by Budapest and eco-buildings on 25 March, Vukovar (biofuels) on 26, and Belgrade (renewable heating and cooling technologies) on 27 March.

Side events and site tours will be organised in each visited city.

Attendance to each individual session is free, however accommodation and catering fee for the 5-day conference tour is €200.

More information on the programme, registration and the organizers can be found on RESboat website.
