In the context of a newly developed policy for reducing its use of paper, the Council of European Municipalities and Regions (CEMR) has developed and launched "Smart Cards", a new pocket-sized means of distributing CEMR's publications.

 

The cards, which constitute an innovative way to communicate on CEMR's activities in a sustainable way, provide a brief summary of the topic, date of publication and relevant contact information as well as quick and easy online access to the publication.

 

To access the publication online, simply enter the link starting with "bit.ly" into your computer browser or, should you have a Smartphone, download the QR Code application and take a picture of the code. The publication will then automatically download itself onto your phone.
