Seminar on intercommunal cooperation, 29/09, Brussels
The Council of European Municipalities and Regions (CEMR) will host a seminar on intercommunal cooperation, in Brussels, on 29 September 2005.
The seminar will take place as the European Commission increasingly turns its attention to intercommunal cooperation, and in the wake of two decisions by the European Court of Justice (the "Stadt Halle" and "Coname" cases).
Representatives of the European Commission and of the Court of Justice will speak at the event, and member associations of CEMR will present case studies from their countries.
